Set the body in motion and the psyche will heal itself.
Movement is the medicine.

– Gabrielle Roth

5Rhythms® is a dynamic moving meditation practice – a practice of embodiment – that ignites creativity, connection and community.

A 5Rhythms® Sweat is a class without instruction, and the focus is on exploring your own dance in a nurturing, supportive and non-judgemental environment. Dancers are encouraged to discover what is underneath the surface chatter of their lives, in order to free the body, open our hearts, still our minds, and access our innate creativity. To help create this sacred container, we also ask that there be no talking on the dance floor.

We explore the circular and grounding rhythm of flowing, the shapes of staccato, the release in chaos. In lyrical, we discover curiosity and freedom of expression, and wholeness and reverence in stillness.

There are no steps to follow, and the 5Rhythms® Sweat is appropriate for any age or fitness level. In this Sweat, we will dance two waves through the rhythms, with a brief pause for a demonstration of the 5Rhythms®.

$20 at the door in advance at link below.

About your 5Rhythms SpaceHolder™: Wendy Rosner knows the healing power of movement intimately, and when she felt it come alive on the 5 Rhythms dance floor, she knew she had to share it with others. She is known for her warmth and authenticity, and her dances are are an invitation to embrace the fullness of our existence. Her 5 Rhythms Sweat is perfect for anyone who wants to be more present and feel more alive in their daily lives.
