The Children’s Museum is combining their popular Trick or Treat event with their first Monster Dash 5k!

Our Annual Trick or Treat event welcomes 500+ children & adults to explore the Museum’s exhibits while collecting goodies at each station. It’s a “not so scary” event for families to bring their children to a safe, fun, learning environment while Trick or Treating.
This years’ event will also feature a MONSTER DASH 5K (MCM Timing and Results is providing timing and scoring for the event), a Kids Spooky Sprint, food trucks, costume contest and even a movie after the race to relax with your families. Celebrate fall with your family and friends at the Fall Festival on Fri., Oct. 28 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Burns Road Recreation Center, 4404 Burns Rd., Palm Beach Gardens, 33410. This fun, family event will feature trick-or-treating on the trail, children’s crafts & activities, live music by Burnt Biscuit, and much more fun! Food and drink items will also be available for purchase. Don’t forget your costumes, camera and trick-or-treat bag. The City of Palm Beach Gardens supports children with food allergies so while trick-or-treating on the trail, look for the teal pumpkins for non-food treats.

On October 28th, Hilton West Palm Beach will host Masks & Mayhem, a Phantom of the Opera-themed bash, celebrating dance, delicacies and disguise. Chef Miguel Santiago will prepare an extravagant menu of hors d’oeuvres complimenting the flavors of South Florida in autumn. If you dare, sample the signature cocktails of the evening, including the Poison Apple, a mix of Vanilla Vodka, Cointreau, sour apple, lemon and champagne with smoking dry ice. A live DJ will complement the evening with classic tunes and local favorites. Overnight packages available.

The Candy Land Halloween “Not-So-Spooky” Spook-tacular will be an afternoon of fun-filled, light-hearted Halloween activities for the whole family. Check-in at the Starting Point to get your game card for your Trick-or-Treat adventure and be the greeted by Candy Land characters. Get your game card stamped along the path to win a prize!

“Trick-or-Treat Along the Avenue” 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. All children are welcome to show off their Halloween costumes and Trick-or-Treat along the avenue and Pineapple Grove (between Swinton Avenue and the Intracoastal Waterway.) This event, which provides parents and children with a safe environment to trick or treat, will be held from 11:30am to 1:00pm. This event is sponsored by the Downtown Merchants Association and the Delray Beach Rotary Club.
Halloween Parade 1:00 p.m.
At 1:00 p.m., children are invited to begin lining up to participate in the Halloween Parade at the southeast corner of Old School Square Park. The Halloween Parade route will go east on Atlantic Avenue through downtown Delray Beach to Veterans Park. Free ice cream for the parade participants will be handed out at Veterans Park. This event is sponsored by the Delray Beach Rotary Club.
Kidsfest 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Immediately following the Halloween Parade, all children are invited to join the City at Kidsfest! Kidsfest is a free family event in Veterans Park, 802 NE 1st Street, that features live entertainment, a bounce house, food vendors, a make-and-take craft area and much, much more. In addition, local children’s services/organizations that target health, safety and fun will be featured to provide additional information to parents. New this year is a Halloween Theme scavenger hunt. Pick up a list from the Parks and Recreation Booth at Kidsfest when you arrive. Find all the items on the list and return it to the Parks and Recreation Booth for a special prize.
